The draw of the four groups (four players in each of them) applying the regulations of the ITTF, distributing the best players in each group, avoiding confrontations that could impair the contest. Federico Lineros, judge referee and Raúl Calin for the ITTF, are the persons responsible for the draw. The organization has chosen them as heads of series: Wang Hao 1st of the ranking (group To), My Lin 2nd of the ranking (group B), Wang Liqin no. 3(Group C) and no. 4 Husk Timo (Group D). All the players that have been selected to play in the LIEBHERR MEN'S WORLD CUP - BARCELONA 2007 of Table Tennis have confirmed their participation in this important event that will take place the 12th, 13th and 14th of October in the Olympic Pavilion situated in Vall d'Hebron.
They have confirmed that they will be in the competition to the International Federation (ITTF) of table tennis. This pavilion will welcome a great table tennis party for some days. The organization thinks that in the three days that will last the competition will fill the 2300 seats. The tickets can be bought in the Corte Inglés.

The Word competition reunites the word elite players of table tennis.
In this competition, will be 16 players: the champions of Africa, Asia, North America, South America, Europe and Oceania. It will include the 6 better players of the ranking that will be made by the ITTF in September, the 2 invited players by the ITTF, the champion of the previous edition and a player of the organizing country.
No country can contribute more than three players. If this case occurs, the organization will include these players to the next ranking that will do the ITTF.

Jaime Lissavetzky, the general secretary of the Superior Council of Sports; Mr. D. Adham Sharara, the president of the ITTF; Mrs. Dña. Anna Pruna Grivé, the general secretary for sport of the Catalan Government; Mr. D. Manuel Núñez Perez, the president of the RFETM; Mr. D. David Moner, the president of UFEC and of the C.O.C.(the Catalan Committee Olympic) and Mr. D. Jordi Prat Puigdengolas, the president of the Catalan Federation of Table Tennis.

LIEBHERR MEN'S WORLD CUP - 2007 (COPA DEL MÓN)
Barcelona will welcome next 12th, 13th and 14th of October the LIEBHERR MEN'S WORLD CUP 2007. This is an individual competition that will reunite the best players of all the continents for some days. What’s more, this competition will reunite the six better players of the world ranking, two sportsmen invited by the ITTF and a player that will be selected by the organizing committee.
The competition will take place in the Municipal Sports pavilion of the Vall d'Hebron that has the capacity for 2,341 spectators.
Now we are waiting to know the ranking used to designate them that will be published in September. Anyway, we have the certainty of being able to see the champions MA Lin, WANG Liqin, WANG Hao from China, the German BOLL Thymu and, the Byelorussian SAMSONOV Vladimir. These are some examples of the sportsmen that we will be able to see in the competition. In the Spanish country has never been possible to enjoy a table tennis competition of this high level.
